Cirque du Ciel Update

Thanks to funding from the Henry Smith Charity, Alison became our first employee in January 09.

She’s responsible for the day-to-day management of the charity, and steering our future development. Now we’re no longer dependent of volunteers, we’ll be able to run even more workshops, and hope to extend our work to more areas in Cornwall over the next few years.

Alison lives in Calstock, and has a wealth of circus and training experience. She’s been running circus projects and workshops in the county for nearly 20 years.

‘I’m thrilled to have got the job. It’s a dream come true for me. Cirque du Ciel already has a great team  of people: trustees, workshop leaders and assistants. It’s a privilege to be join be a part of this exciting young charity, and help to bring a little bit more circus magic to Cornwall.’
